February 11: David Kroupa, Chief Credit Officer, participated in a Meet the Bankers panel at Northeast Community College, hosted in partnership with the Nebraska Bankers Association. The discussion highlighted the wide range of career opportunities within banking and gave students the opportunity to network and ask questions.

February 12: Amanda Prince, Vice President of Human Resources, and Erin Zierke, Vice President of Retail Operations and Training, participated in Norfolk Senior High’s Mock Interview Day. More than 250 sophomores practiced their interview skills and received feedback from local business leaders, helping build confidence and real-world experience.

February 13: Megan Anderson, Vice President, Lending, spoke to the Wayne Careers class, sharing insight into careers in banking and her professional journey. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with students and support career exploration.

February 19: EVB team members served a meal at the Norfolk Rescue Mission, providing homemade desserts and volunteering their time to serve neighbors in need.

February 19: Staff volunteered during the 25th Anniversary St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Radiothon, assisting with donor support efforts, including writing thank-you notes and supporting event organizers throughout their shifts.

Team Updates: February also brought exciting internal milestones as three team members expanded their roles. Brandon Mainquist was named Senior Vice President, Lending at the Wayne Branch; Devon Beckman was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Lending at the Omaha Avenue branch in Norfolk; and Ria Raitt advanced to Vice President, Marketing. These promotions reflect their dedication, experience, and the leadership they will continue to provide to our customers, their coworkers, and our communities.

Throughout February, we were proud to invest our time and talents into the communities we serve. Thank you to the organizations, schools, and partners who continue to provide opportunities for us to connect and contribute.
