At Elkhorn Valley Bank, giving back is an important part of who we are. Throughout July, our employees dedicated their time and talents to local organizations, community events, schools, and service projects that make a difference. We’re proud to be part of these efforts and grateful for the opportunity to give back to where we live and work.

July 4: EVB sponsored the 50th anniversary of Big Bang Boom in Norfolk. Big Bang Boom is a tradition that brings people together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories on the Fourth of July.

July 10 – 11: We sponsored the Wayne Chicken Show. The theme was “United We Cluck” for America’s 250th. Some Wayne employees braved the heat and walked in the parade!

July 11: EVB had a team play in the Concrete Cares Golf Tournament. Our team had a great time supporting Concrete Cares, an organization dedicated to helping families affected by cancer.

July 14: EVB provided lunch and sponsored a hole on the course for the Wayne Farmers Open. It was great to be part of another successful event supporting the agricultural community.

July 16: Our team participated in Wayne America’s 39th Annual Business and Industry Golf outing alongside organizations from across the area.

July 21: Our mortgage lending team hosted The Norfolk Board of Realtors, Inc. for their July Membership Networking Lunch. It was a great opportunity to share how EVB supports homebuyers and our real estate partners.

July 24: We had a team play in the Wayne State College Women’s Catbacker tournament. The tournament raises money for WSC women’s athletics. Go Cats!

July 24: EVB volunteered at the Wayne County Fair’s 63rd Annual Barbeque. It was great to be back at the fair, connecting with so many familiar faces from across the community.

July 25: Our team provided lunch at the 2026 Marty Summerfield Memorial Golf Tournament in support of Wayne High athletics.

July 29: EVB hosted an American Cross Blood Drive. Our goal was to collect 20 pints of blood and we collected 33!

July 31: We sponsored and participated in “The Great American Tee-Off,” the 38th Annual Chamber Golf Day hosted by the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce. It was great to be on the course with our local community!
