Community Highlights: A Look Back at EVB’s June
As we close out June, we’re reflecting on another month of success and celebrating the people who make Elkhorn Valley Bank what it is. From volunteering and attending local events to welcoming new team members and recognizing employee milestones, each event in this newsletter reflects our shared commitment to making a difference.
June 5: EVB employees participated in the Briggs & Barrett Project Golf Tournament in Norfolk. The event brings our community together to raise awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, & Sudden Unexpected Infant Death, as well as provide critical support to families navigating the experience.
June 8: A few of our Ag Lenders enjoyed a day on the course supporting our farmers at the Randolph Farmers Open!
June 12: Some of our Yankton team participated in Day of Caring to support Yankton Food For Thought.
June 16: EVB sponsored and attended the Norfolk Area Chamber Ag Banquet. We’re proud to support and celebrate the hardworking individuals, families, and businesses that make agriculture such a vital part of our communities.
June 17: We also sponsored and attended Go Red for Women banquet, supporting awareness, education, and advocacy for women’s heart health. The event brought together community members, healthcare professionals, and local leaders to shine a light on the importance of heart health and the impact it has on women and families throughout our region.
June 19: EVB had a team play in the Lincoln High Northeast Golf Tournament in Norfolk! We’re proud to support LHNE and appreciate the opportunity to be part of this event.
June 22: EVB set up a cookout at the Pierce Farmers Open. Our team enjoyed providing lunch and spending time with members of the ag community!
June 25: Despite the rainy weather, our team had a fun time at Music in the Park in Norfolk! It was a wonderful evening of live music, great food, and conversations with co-workers and their families from across our branches!
June 26: EVB had a team participate in the Faith Health Foundation Partners in Health Golf Classic at Norfolk Country Club! Proceeds from the tournament will help fund new respiratory therapy equipment.
Staff Updates
We’re happy to announce the new team members who have joined EVB! Tera Tramp started as Branch Operations Manager in Yankton, and Grayson Meyer joined our Omaha Avenue branch as a Teller.
Together, we’re making a difference for our customers, our coworkers, and the communities we proudly serve. We look forward to building on this momentum in the second half of the year.
