Community Highlights: A Look Back at EVB’s March
March was a month filled with meaningful connections, community involvement, and milestones across Elkhorn Valley Bank. From employee engagement to community partnerships, here’s a look back at what we were proud to be part of:
March 10: EVB’s Social Committee hosted a Bingo Night, bringing employees and their families together for an evening of friendly competition, laughter, and connection outside of work hours.
March 18: In partnership with the American Red Cross, EVB hosted a community blood drive to support lifesaving efforts and encourage donors to help meet the ongoing need for blood donations.
March 19: Our Yankton team celebrated the five-year anniversary of our Downtown Riverfront branch, recognizing five years of building relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to the growth of the area.
March 19: EVB was proud to sponsor and volunteer at For the Girls, supporting their mission to provide critical medical, emotional, and educational resources to women battling breast cancer in northeast Nebraska.
March 20–22: EVB participated in the Norfolk Area Home Builders Association’s Home, Garden & Outdoor Expo, connecting with community members, sharing ideas, and helping individuals and families explore ways to bring their home projects to life.
Employee Updates: In addition to community involvement, March also brought exciting updates and achievements across our team:
Trevor Fitzgerald joined the Yankton team as a Teller, helping support day-to-day customer service and operations.
President & CEO Aaron Otten celebrated 15 years with EVB, marking a significant milestone in leadership and service.
Chief Financial Officer Seth Mangels completed the Nebraska Bankers Association Leadership Program, an achievement that reflects his commitment to professional growth and the future of community banking.
March was a strong reflection of what matters most at EVB—supporting our communities, investing in our people, and building lasting relationships. We’re grateful for every opportunity to make a difference and look forward to what’s ahead.
