Nov 30, 2025 | 2 Minute Read

November brought gratitude, community spirit, and meaningful engagement across all of our Elkhorn Valley Bank branches. From launching new educational partnerships to celebrating our employees and supporting local events, here’s a look back at how EVB made a difference this month!

November 6: EVB celebrated the Grand Opening of the In-School Panther Branch at the 25th Street Branch—celebrating the rollout of savings programs in all seven Norfolk Public elementary schools. This partnership with NPS and the Nebraska Council on Economic Education gives students hands-on financial experience and builds lifelong money-management skills.

November 6: Team members attended the Norfolk Rescue Mission Banquet, joining the community for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and support of the Mission’s life-changing work.

November 9: EVB supported the Christ Lutheran Church Servants of the Savior event, recognizing those who give their time and talents in service to others.

November 11: In honor of Veterans Day, EVB recognized the courage, sacrifice, and service of all veterans—including those on our own team—whose dedication continues to inspire our work in the communities we serve.

November 18 & 20: EVB held its fall All Staff Meetings, filled with new initiatives, team-building, celebrations, and shared goals. The energy and collaboration were a strong reminder of the ways we have and continue to make a difference.

November 20: EVB joined the Christmas in Wayne festivities, handing out roasted peanuts along the parade route, volunteering at the Rotary Soup Supper, and displaying an EVB tree in the Festival of Trees.

November 21: EVB team members attended the AgCeptional Women’s Conference, supporting and celebrating the women who contribute to the strength and success of agriculture across the region.

November 25: EVB helped kick off the season at the Downtown Norfolk River Point District Hometown Holidays Festival by handing out hot chocolate and sharing holiday cheer with families and neighbors.

Team Highlights: This month, we celebrated two meaningful employee milestones at EVB. Shannon Hart marked five years of dedicated service, while Ashley Cook reached an incredible 20-year anniversary. We’re grateful for their commitment, leadership, and the positive impact they make on our customers, coworkers, and communities every day.

As November comes to a close, we’re thankful for our employees, customers, and community partners who make it possible for us to serve, support, and grow alongside our communities. We look forward to making a difference together in December!
