EVB Supports Go Red for Women Banquet and Looks Ahead to 2026 Leadership

Elkhorn Valley Bank was proud to sponsor and attend the 2025 Norfolk Go Red for Women banquet, an event dedicated to raising awareness and advancing heart health in our community. Despite the stormy weather, the event drew over 250 attendees who came together to support the mission of the American Heart Association through advocacy, education, and generosity.

The evening was a moving reminder of the importance of heart health and the power of community. Guests heard inspiring stories, honored loved ones affected by heart disease and stroke, and contributed to life-saving initiatives that will make a difference for women and families across the region.

EVB is especially proud to recognize two employees who played a meaningful role in the event. Debbie Acklie served on the event planning committee, helping bring the evening to life through her time, creativity, and dedication. In addition, Kate Dolen, Vice President of Business Development, was announced as the 2026 Chair for Norfolk’s Go Red for Women event. Kate’s leadership and passion for community wellness will continue to drive awareness and support for this important cause.
